Review process

How the inspection is completed.

Prioritize

Separate immediate food-safety risks from supporting maintenance issues.

Correct

Translate each finding into an owner, action, and practical timeline.

Verify

Use follow-up checks, coaching, and documentation to sustain the improvement.

Frequently asked questions

Limits of a mock inspection.

Is this an official government health inspection?

No. Five Stars Food Safety provides independent education and compliance-readiness consulting. The service is not conducted by, endorsed by, or a substitute for DBPR, DOH, or any other regulatory authority.

Does a mock inspection guarantee that we will pass an official inspection?

No. A mock inspection identifies observed conditions and improvement opportunities at a point in time. The operator remains responsible for ongoing compliance, and an official inspection may evaluate additional conditions.

What areas can be reviewed?

The scope may include employee health and hygiene, time and temperature control, cross-contamination, allergen controls, receiving and storage, cleaning and sanitizing, facilities, equipment, records, and active managerial control.

Where is the service available?

Standard packages are designed for single locations in and around Tampa Bay, including Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Brandon, and nearby communities. Travel, location size, and operational complexity may affect the final quote.
